The Tactics used in the War Against Russia

The website is really self explanitory it shows his campagins and all of the tactics used. According to this website he favored lots of flanking because it was highly effective. Napoleons armies also had really high morales so they were able to win fights even when they were outnumbered or the enemy had better technology. Because of the superior tactics. Napoleon dominated he was able to use. What I thought that was interesting was that he liked to send a elite squad of troops almost like a modern day special forces and had them secure the most valuble position to fight in so that he could get an edge early. Then heavier troops would be sent in and then light with really fast mobile artillery. This caused lots of traps which he could surround them. He prefered tons of speed and lots of flanking. The only weakness that he had was flanks if his flanks were taken down he could be defeated and it happend three times.
"There are in Europe many good generals, but they see too many things at once."- Napoleon, he thought that other Generals looked at things to large and he looked at things small and took things step by step which he believes gave him lots of success.
