They also say Among the highlights of this collection are the detailed (and previously classified) U.S. government accounts of the infamous military assault by the Chinese government on pro-democracy demonstrators in and around Tiananmen Square in Beijing in June 1989.
5. and 6. I believe this because according to this website says that China and the United States had a relationship and that information was told to America so they have evidence this Massacre actually happend and its purpose was for pro democracy.

5. and 6. Yes, I believe in this because its news from a news website and also they have some pictures of the rioting and I believe it because I really think that people still feel very strongly about the Tiananmen Square Massacre that they would protest against it again because they felt it was wrong in such that lots of people were killed.

5. and 6. I believe this because all of the information looks to be on with other sites that I have looked at. Also its good because it gives statisics like what branch of the military went and helped resolve the piece.

3. Its credentials are that it has an authur and tells where the authur is from and when he published it. The site also has an about tab so you can learn about what this site is really all about doing.
4. This site says that
China's 15-year long news blackout on the Tiananmen Square massacre slipped for a few hours yesterday when People's Daily, the mouthpiece of the Communist party, reported for the first time on its website that the authorities had carried out a "violent crackdown" on pro-democracy
Which tells me that it was an accident that the public got to it and that things are going to start heating up again about the issue of the Tiananmen Square Massacre.
5. and 6. I believe the Tiananmen Square Massacre really happend but I dont believe that it has been fifteen years that the public has not found about about these tapes that where accidentally released because their has been protest every year about the Tiananmes Square Massacre so the issue is still there with the people and the Chinese Government and their policies.

4. They say Starting in April 1989, protesters of all ages and affiliations across China began leading demonstrations which criticized the Chinese government. Students were particularly involved in these protests across China, although older Chinese took part as well. Tiananmen Square was the site of several protests during this period, including a student hunger strike. The protests grew larger as word spread, and international media descended upon China to report on the issue. Many people suspected that these mass protests would mark a new era in Chinese history.
5. and 6. I believe that this site is true because the information seems to be accurate according to other sites and I think it is wild on how much devotion was actually put into this according to this site older people particiapated which so how much Chinese people wanted change.

3. Its credentials are that they have the names of the sources and they have numerous authors and editors.
4. They explain how religion was strictly enforced how their rights arent very good and very limited and how that the people had enough of it and found a way to start a Chinese resolution by these massive protests.
5. and 6. I believe this source because it has numerous authors that have edited it and looked at it and that gives me enough proof that this information that they are showing is correct information. The one part that I do not believe is that they say that almost all of the killings were just people pushing and shoving to just get to the square I dont believe that because to my knowledge I though the Chinese soldiers fired opon them.

3. The credentials that the site had was the contact information and a publish date and it seems to be a ledgible site or reliable site when you look at it.
4. They say According to current estimates, as many as two-hundred-and-fifty Chinese are still serving prison sentences for Tiananmen-related activities. The world does not know the exact numbers of those killed, wounded or arrested because, sixteen years later, the government of China still has not provided an accounting. Instead, the government has imposed a near complete blackout of information about the event.
5. and 6. They say that people are still serving prison time from the Tinanames Square Massacre. But the part I dont understand is that they say that the government has kept any information on the Tiananmen Square Massacre blacked out from the public but according to other websites they have already accidentally let out the information to the public which apparently causing uprisings.
